At Chamberlain Carpentry & Joinery Ltd we are committed to a multifaceted strategy that targets risk awareness & management, competence, common standards of excellence, behavioural change, and continuous improvement, at the same time engaging with our stakeholders in a collaborative and supportive manner.

Chamberlain Carpentry & Joinery Ltd operate an Integrated Management System (IMS) that conforms to BS EN ISO 14001:2004 as well as BS EN ISO 9001:2008 & OHSAS 18001:2007

The IMS comprises the Health & Safety, Environment & Quality Manual together with supporting documentation supplied in the company Starter Pack. It sets out the procedures to be adopted in procuring, executing and concluding   our works in a safe manner. This is made available to public and external parties on request. This will be sent electronically or via e-mail within twenty-one (21) working days.

Our significant Environmental Impacts will be communicated to external parties on request or as the Directors sees fit.

Environmental Objectives

We are committed to continually improve both our environmental performance and the enhancement of Client satisfaction. To achieve this we will maintain and regularly review the effectiveness of our Integrated Management System. We will set objectives as part of our annual Management Review and communicate these to the company. Additionally we commit to the following:

  • Keeping abreast of and complying with legislation, regulations and codes of practice on environment matters relevant to our activities.
  • Reducing the environmental impacts of our activities by identification of significant environmental impacts and adopting reasonable controls.
  • Setting annual environmental objectives and targets, and monitoring performance against these objectives and targets.
  • Making use of opportunities to minimise waste and to reuse or recycle materials.
  • Communicating our environmental policies, plans and performance to the public and other interested parties.
  • Training employees and promoting environmental awareness and commitment.


Creation of an effective organisation is dependent upon the commitment and involvement of all employees. Employees will receive information, instruction, supervision, and training as is relevant
